Which literary magazines are open for submissions right now, what they pay, what they charge and how long they take to reply. Every entry links to the magazine's own submissions page, and every pay rate, fee and reading window is checked against that page before we publish it. Entries marked details to confirm are newly discovered and still being verified. Search by name, click a genre, or filter to free-to-submit, paying or open-now markets.
The Thursday Deadline Digest lists the magazine windows closing in the next 21 days and the ones that just opened, plus the contests and residencies closing soon. Every genre, one email a week. You also get a short welcome series and the occasional writing email.
Prefer no email at all? Every genre is also acalendar feed you can subscribe to.
