The digest is free and so is every page it links to. Nothing here moves behind a login later: the contest, magazine, grant and residency databases stay open to read, search and filter without an email address. The digest exists because deadlines recur and inboxes are where people actually notice them, not because the data is being held back.
If you would rather not get email at all, take the calendar feed instead. It carries the same deadlines, updates itself, and asks for nothing.
A genre earns its own calendar feed once we track enough live deadlines in it to be worth subscribing to. These are the ones we do.
