Discover the Power of Small Wins

Do you want to get more from your day?

Would you like to accumulate smalls wins that can help you achieve your personal and professional goals?

This week I published a guest blog post on the Productivity Blog, by Ciara Conlon. You can find it here: 3 Simple But Effective Ways You Can Increase Productivity Today.

In this guest blog post, I give three simple but effective ways athletes, writers and business people can get more from their day.

I explain how to:

  • Put first things first
  • Cultivate productive habits
  • Harness the power of small wins

I researched this blog post by reading “The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do In Life And Business” by Charles Duhigg.

This is an excellent read, which you can learn from and make small habit changes that culminate in larger wins.

In this book Duhigg writes, “This is how willpower becomes a habit: by choosing a certain behavior ahead of time, and then following that routine when an inflection point arrives.”

What I Learnt from Charles Duhigg

I used Duhigg's advice to cultivate a habit of daily meditation. I don't always succeed at this habit but, when I do, I find I'm more able to focus on my work and put first things first.

It's an accessible and informative read and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get more from their day. In the meantime, please take a moment to visit this blog post on Ciara's website and share it social media.
